Notable in our kind of measuring is that PoetterSensors® „heavy duty“ RG 20 are installed in the center of the flow, directly after the arches and only protruding half the diameter of the pipe. With the help of the special sword shape of PoetterSensors® we even don‘t have any problems with vibration cracking caused by turbulence. Expensive hinge brackets and sensors covering the whole diameter are totally unnecessary.

Also in many power plants, refineries and steel mills Poettersensors® „heavy duty“ Type RG 20 were installed worldwide. Standard applications for the „heavy duty“ RG 20 are flow measurements for raw gas, process gas, stack gas, exhaust gas, primary and secondary air. Often heavily soiled,humid and without any inlet zones. Even process gas prior to a cyclone in the cement industry with a dust content >300 gr/m3, or extremely soiled and humid raw gas in thermal waste treatment we are able to measure trouble-free with our AFS flushing system.
